Leading M&A Attorney, John Kosir, Joins CAC Specialty’s Transactional Liability Practice Group

DENVER, Oct. 11, 2023 – CAC Specialty, a leading specialty insurance broker and a member of CAC Group, announced the addition of John Kosir, a prominent M&A attorney, to the Transactional Liability (TL) practice group. Kosir, recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch^® in America 2024 for outstanding work in Mergers and Acquisitions law, brings a wealth of experience in structuring, negotiating, and closing complex corporate transactions. In his new role as Senior Vice President, he will focus on placing representations and warranties insurance.

Kosir has an impressive track record across a wide range of deal sizes and diverse industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, consumer products, marketing, and logistics. Kosir’s addition to CAC Specialty’s TL team underscores the company’s dedication to assembling a team of industry leaders who are at the forefront of addressing complex transactional risks.

Prior to joining CAC Specialty, Kosir was a corporate partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he concentrated on complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and restructurings, and other general corporate matters.

Kosir graduated with a juris doctorate degree from Loyola University’s Chicago School of Law, and he holds an accounting degree with a minor in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana.
