CAC Specialty Welcomes New Risk Engineer for CAC Natural Resources, Jim Biggins May 11, 2022CAC Specialty is excited to have Jim Biggins join as Senior Vice President of CAC Specialty’s Natural Resources team. Jim will focus primarily on power and renewables but will also assist the Oil & Gas and Mining & Metals teams. Jim’s unique experience as an engineer will be invaluable to our Natural Resources team.Jim joins CAC Natural Resources from TUV SUD Global Risk Consultants and brings over 35 years of experience in property risk engineering in the power and renewables sector. Jim has developed standards, guidelines and conceptual designs for fire protection, developed client policies and procedures, assisted in underwriter presentation and collaborated with clients to drive risk program improvement. He holds both a Professional Engineer (PE) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation. Also, Jim lead the TUV SUD Power Generation Focus Group and is the current Chair for NFPA 855 Battery Storage Standards Committee.“He will add tremendous value across all our verticals bringing unmatched technical engineering credibility to our organization,” said Sara Kane, Executive Vice President of CAC Natural Resources and Co-leader of Power & Renewables.
