CAC Specialty Adds Two Industry Leading Talents to Its Natural Resources Division May 10, 2022CAC Specialty is excited to welcome Rick Eisenstat and Justin Sharp to its Natural Resources team. Rick is an environmental law specialist and will serve as Vice President. His expertise in environmental law and knowledge within the highly specialized natural resources industry will be highly accretive to the success of the CAC Natural Resources team. Justin brings to CAC more than a decade of experience in project development, insurance and management – primarily focused on the renewable energy space. Justin will serve as Vice President, with a focus on Power & Renewables.Rick is a former Naval Officer and graduate of Tulane University Law School. His experience has spanned 17 years, advocating on behalf of clients in areas of insurance defense, toxic tort, and occupational exposure. On top of that, Rick has campaigned on behalf of companies, developers, and non-profit organizations in complex land use, zoning, and real property matters in front of various municipal, state, and federal regulatory authorities. Most recently, Rick worked with Galloway, Johnson, Tomkins, Burr and Smith, APLC as a maritime attorney representing multinational shipping companies, insurers and businesses on disputes in blue-and brown-water matters.Rick will work alongside Lisa Harris, Executive Vice President and Co-leader of CAC’s Natural Resources Oil & Gas team. “Rick’s diverse background speaks for itself,” said Harris. “He has represented and campaigned on behalf of multiple natural resources organizations and has a deep understanding of the legislation and regulation present in the natural resources space.”Justin will work primarily with the Power & Renewables team to provide insurance solutions to project developers, EPCs, operators and investors. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a focus on Entrepreneurship Management from University of South Carolina.
