CAC Specialty Names John Hohlt as EVP, Surety Practice Leader

Seasoned Surety Leader to Strengthen Client Solutions Amid Market Complexity

DENVER (July 9, 2025) – CAC Specialty, a leading insurance brokerage and advisory within CAC Group, appointed John Hohlt to Executive Vice President, Surety Practice Leader. In this role, Hohlt will lead CAC Specialty’s surety strategy, focusing on driving growth and delivering specialized solutions to clients with complex bonding needs.

Most recently, Hohlt served as Senior Vice President, Surety Practice Leader at CAC Specialty with a dedicated focus within the natural resources industry. With more than 15 years of experience, Hohlt brings deep expertise across the energy market and commercial surety, helping clients manage some of the most significant challenges and heightened complexities today.

Hohlt earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance with a specialization in Alternative Investments from Fordham University. He is a member of the National Association of Surety Bond Producers (NASBP) as well as the Houston Surety Association.
