Trey Kellett is Senior Vice President, Power and Renewables with the Natural Resources Practice. His 20 years of experience in energy and climate technology have included principal investment, project finance, and risk management. Trey provides experience from multiple perspectives for clients that develop and own energy transition infrastructure.
Prior to joining CAC Specialty, Trey served as a Director at Breakthrough Energy Catalyst, a $1.5 billion partnership to accelerate commercial-scale climate technologies. Previously, he founded a firm that advised climate technology companies on funding and project development in middle-income countries. Earlier in his career, he was an energy investor at GE for eight years. With GE Ventures’ energy team, he made 10 investments and managed a portfolio of 40 energy technology investments. At GE Energy Financial Services, he invested in midstream oil & gas and renewables projects.
Trey holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Yale School of Management.
