Tara Petter is a Senior Catastrophe Risk Analyst with the Analytics team at CAC Specialty. In this role, she provides critical analysis and risk assessment for catastrophic events, supporting the company’s risk management efforts.
Prior to joining CAC Specialty, Tara was a Risk Consultant at Verisk Extreme Event Solutions, where she built strong client relationships and offered modeling support to reinsurance and Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS) clients. Her career began as a Marine Meteorology Intern at Weathernews Inc., followed by a Natural Catastrophe Internship with SCOR, where she gained valuable experience in weather-related risk.
Tara holds a bachelor’s degree in meteorology and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Oklahoma, combining her expertise in atmospheric science with a solid foundation in business management.
