Susan Shimanek

Susan Shimanek is a Human Resources Consultant for CAC. She partners with clients to deliver comprehensive guidance supported by more than 20 years of full‑cycle human resources experience across manufacturing, service and delivery, and professional services industries.

Prior to joining CAC, Susan led the Talent Development and Compensation teams for a project engineering firm, where she designed and implemented the organization’s job architecture, compensation frameworks, and professional development programs. Prior to that, she served as HR & Benefits Director for a multi-state franchise, gaining extensive experience in workers’ compensation, complex pay structures, HRIS implementation, DOT compliance, and management of a highly customized self‑insured health plan. Susan studied Psychology and Sociology at Wichita State University and is a Society for Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM‑SCP).
