Stefan Engelhardt

Stefan Engelhardt is a Producer of Surety for the Natural Resources Practice at CAC Specialty. Stefan brings a wealth of experience in the Healthcare, Power & Renewables, Construction, and Real Estate sectors. His focus is helping Private equity firms and businesses owned by PE with balance sheet strategies and credit solutions.

Stefan previously served as the Surety Sales Manager for Brown & Brown’s National Practice, where he managed a team of 20 account managers and executives, focusing on commercial and contract surety across various industries. He also educated over 1,000 P&C brokers nationally on surety opportunities and risk, while handling carrier relationships and appointments.

Stefan has been the President of the Surety Association of Oregon (2024); holds his Associates in Fidelity and Surety Bonding (AFSB), holds his Construction Risk & Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation, and has sat on the Board for NASBP’s Commercial Surety Committee and Professional Development Committee since 2023.

Stefan holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of Central Florida.
