Stacy Massey

Stacy Massey serves as the Assistant Vice President of Claims Advocacy within the Natural Resources Practice. She has extensive experience evaluating complex claims in renewable energy involving solar, wind, and battery energy storage projects. She is dedicated to delivering exceptional client service through accurate claims assessments, strategic advocacy, and practical solutions tailored to the unique challenges of the renewable energy industry.

Stacy is recognized for her customer-focused approach through translating complex insurance and coverage issues into clear, actionable guidance for clients and project stakeholders. Her collaborative style, attention to detail, and commitment to fair and timely claim resolutions have earned her a reputation as a trusted advisor and advocate.

Prior to joining CAC Specialty, Stacy served as Senior Claims Representative at McGriff Insurance, where she managed a broad portfolio of Commercial Property and Casualty claims. Earlier in her career, she was a Claims Manager in the Risk Management department at MetroNational Corporation, overseeing claims across multiple lines of business. This diverse background provided her with a strong technical foundation and comprehensive understanding of complex claims, insurance coverage, and risk management.

Stacy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Insurance and Risk Management from the University of Houston-Downtown. She is a licensed Property and Casualty Adjuster, Property and Casualty Agent and has earned Insurance Service Representative (ISR) and Certified Risk Manager (CRM) professional designations. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Stacy is a dedicated volunteer with the Court Appointed Special Advocates program (CASA), where she advocates for abuse and neglected children in foster care. This reflects her passion for advocacy, compassion and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
