Slade Smith

Slade Smith joined CAC Agency in March of 2022 as a Producer/Consultant within its Employee Benefits practice group. He aids his team in establishing and servicing new relationships among companies wanting to reevaluate their healthcare and benefit packages. Before joining, Slade spent the prior six years in the medical device industry with Stryker and NuVasive, Inc where he served as a Sales Specialist for spinal surgical implants, selling to neurosurgeons and orthopedic spine surgeons.

Slade also played professional baseball for the Detroit Tigers minor league system for five seasons. He credits his strong work ethic and leadership skills to this experience while using them to build strong professional relationships.

Prior to his work experience, Slade earned his degree from The University of Alabama after beginning his degree at Auburn University where he played baseball for 3 years. Slade is married to his wife of 8 years and has 4 kids. He also volunteers by serving as the President of the Junior Board for The WellHouse which is a restoration program for victims of sex trafficking.
