Shane Calendar

Shane Calendar is a Vice President, Claims Counsel for the Legal and Claims Practice at CAC Specialty. Shane is a highly experienced and accomplished coverage attorney, adept at handling high-exposure coverage disputes and analyzing complex insurance programs.

Prior to joining CAC, Shane spent nine years as counsel at Clyde & Co, where his practice focused on insurance coverage litigation, counseling, and monitoring, representing both domestic and international insurance carriers in various complex insurance coverage areas. Before that, Shane was counsel at Carroll, McNulty and Kull, LLC, where he similarly handled complex insurance coverage litigation and counseling. He also served as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Susan L. Reisner at the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division.

Shane earned his Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers School of Law-Newark, graduating Magna Cum Laude and inducted into the Order of the Coif, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from the University of Notre Dame. He is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey. When he’s not working, Shane enjoys playing basketball, watching football, and spending time with his kids.
