Sara Denby

Sara Denby is a Vice President, Senior Account Executive for the Property & Casualty Practice for CAC Agency. She is an accomplished insurance and risk management professional with over 20 years of experience in client service, leadership, and national account management. She specializes in commercial property and casualty insurance, with expertise in complex program design and difficult-to-place risks.

Previously, Sara held the title of Senior Property Consultant at USI where she acted as a technical resource and supported the nine states within USI’s Mountain Region. In this role, she provided thought leadership around marketing strategy and program design for large and complex property risks.

Sara has also served as Vice President of Client Success for Virtus, LLC’s National Real Estate Practice, where she oversaw a $5M book of business, ensuring profitability and client retention. She led a team of twelve, providing guidance, coaching, and development while fostering industry expertise. Her role included acting as a technical subject matter expert, advising clients and team members on program structure and coverage improvements. Sara also spearheaded the creation of a New Hire Onboarding and Training program, successfully onboarding six new team members in six months.

Sara also held roles as Account Executive and Account Manager at Virtus, LLC, where she managed high-touch, complex real estate accounts, directed renewal marketing strategies, and conducted contract reviews to ensure compliance. Her ability to establish and maintain meaningful relationships with carriers and partners has been instrumental in achieving optimal outcomes for clients.

Sara earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Missouri State University.
