Sam Garvey

Sam is the Analytics Team Leader at CAC Specialty and joined the firm in August 2021. In his current role, Sam works alongside all industry verticals to provide a variety of analytic solutions geared to meet clients & brokers’ needs. His areas of expertise include insurance program strategy, ultimate loss projection, collateral review & negotiation, catastrophe modeling, data visualization, and premium allocation. Prior to joining CAC Specialty, Sam was an analyst at Marsh working on their E&S MGA team. During his time there, Sam led the pricing development & strategy for the surplus lines residential product and helped oversee the successful rollout of their direct to agent business model. Prior to that, Sam worked as a Catastrophe Risk analyst within Aon’s reinsurance team.

Sam is an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison, with a bachelor’s in actuarial science and risk management & insurance.
