Rick Eisenstat joined CAC Specialty in May of 2022 as Vice President of the Natural Resources Practice.

Prior to his arrival at CAC, Rick was a maritime and admiralty attorney in the New Orleans office of Galloway, Johnson, Tompkins, Burr & Smith, where his practice focused on the representation of multinational shipping companies, vessel owners, charterers, Protection and Indemnity clubs, insurers, and operators engaged in the blue and brown water trade. Rick has also handled complex multi-party disputes in the areas of environmental and toxic tort liability and insurance defense, and he has extensive experience in the areas of real estate development and land use law.

At CAC Specialty, Rick serves as a broker on the Oil and Gas and Power and Renewable teams and provides bespoke insurance solutions to energy companies operating throughout the gulf coast and around the world.

Rick is a graduate of Tulane University and Tulane Law School, where he served as an editor on the Tulane Environmental Law Journal and as a member of the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic. Prior to beginning his professional career, Rick was an officer in the United States Navy, with tours throughout the European and Pacific theaters.
