Rachel Beck

Rachel is an Executive Vice President at CAC Specialty where she manages the Sponsors Insurance team and helps lead the overall Private Equity Practice, spearheading numerous private equity growth efforts firmwide.

Rachel’s technical background is in the management and professional liability space, where she provides brokerage services to clients, with a specific focus on insurance products for various private equity and alternative asset management firms as well as their portfolio investments. Rachel is an expert in coverage strategy, program structure evaluation, market negotiation and product development. She enjoys partnering strategically with clients to evaluate and manage their unique risks.

Prior to joining CAC, Rachel was with JLT Specialty, where she was responsible for building the financial lines business for private equity and financial institutions clients. Before JLT, Rachel worked at Willis North America Inc. where she specialized in management and professional liability placement within the private equity sector. Prior to working on the brokerage side of the business, Rachel spent over five years at AIG where she began her career as a corporate actuary before shifting her concentration to financial lines underwriting, where she analyzed and underwrote executive risk lines for large, multi-national, publicly traded companies.

Rachel earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from Pennsylvania State University. She lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband, two daughters and son.
