Melissa Zwerin

Melissa Zwerin is an Associate Vice President, Account Manager for the Private Equity and M&A Solutions Practice at CAC Specialty. She is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in education and insurance. After a successful 20-year career as a high school math teacher in New Jersey, she transitioned to the insurance industry in Colorado.

Prior to joining, she served as an Account Manager at IMA Financial Group, where she exceled in client contract analysis, policy renewal, and maintaining business relationships. Melissa’s teaching experience has honed her communication, presentation, and risk assessment skills, which she effectively applies in her insurance roles.

She holds a master’s degree in education from Montclair State University and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin. Additionally, she recently earned the AINS (Associate in Insurance) designation and is licensed in Property & Casualty insurance.
