Mason West

Mason West is a Vice President and Broker in the Property & Casualty Practice at CAC Specialty. He is a seasoned professional with 9 years of experience in the property insurance industry.

Prior to joining CAC Specialty in September 2025, Mason held leadership roles at Aon, where he was Vice President and Central Region Real Estate Broking Leader in Minneapolis, MN. His career also includes 5.5 years in New York City as part of Aon’s Greater New York Property Brokerage Group, where he managed a broking team of four. Before Aon, Mason spent 3.5 years at Gallagher New York on the Large Property team.

Mason specializes in marketing and relationship management with property carriers, risk structuring, alternative capital solutions, and program configuration for single carrier, layered, and quota share programs.

Mason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Vermont. He is a Licensed Property and Casualty Broker and has earned the CRIS designation. His achievements include being recognized as a “Power Broker” finalist by Risk & Insurance magazine in 2023 for the Pharmaceuticals Industry and receiving the University of Vermont’s 30 under 30 Alumni Award in 2024.
