Lloyd Wills

Lloyd is a Senior Vice President of Claims and Client Advocacy within the Natural Resources Practice at CAC Specialty. He specializes in the strategic resolution and management of complex general liability, workers’ compensation, property, and auto liability risks. Leveraging a unique blend of clinical expertise and technical claims acumen, Lloyd advises clients on assessing work-related risks, managing severe injuries, optimizing return-to-work (RTW) strategies, and navigating complex litigation within Natural Resources.

Prior to joining CAC Specialty, Lloyd served in similar claims leadership roles within national carriers and a brokerage where he managed sophisticated, loss-sensitive programs within the Construction, National, and Energy practices. This background gives him deep expertise in helping clients optimize high-deductible programs and self-insured retentions.

Rooted in a strong academic foundation, Lloyd holds a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Services and a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from Southern University, specializing in Vocational Evaluation and Work Adjustment.  He is a licensed multi-line adjuster, a licensed property and casualty agent, and holds the AIC (Associate in Claims), AINS (Associate in General Insurance), and CRC (Certified Rehabilitation Counselor) designations.  This rare combination of credentials uniquely positions Lloyd to bridge the gap between clinical medical management and complex claims finance, ensuring lower medical exposure and superior advocacy for employers.
