Ian Goldwasser

Ian is a Senior Account Executive, Private Equity for CAC Specialty’s Transactional Liability Practice, where he advises private equity firms and their portfolio companies on insurance strategies across the investment lifecycle. He handles the placement of all core P&C lines during acquisitions and oversees day-to-day account management for complex, multi-entity programs post-close.

Ian partners directly with deal teams, CFOs, and operating partners to address risk during diligence, streamline program design, and support long-term portfolio needs. He brings a hands-on approach to servicing, with a focus on delivering tailored solutions that align with each company’s growth and operational goals.

Earlier in his career, Ian analyzed claims data to help clients identify cost drivers and reduce loss trends. He went on to serve in account management roles at Chubb and Aon, working closely with private equity clients across a range of sectors.

Ian has been in the insurance industry for over 15 years and holds both a bachelor’s degree and an MBA.
