Eric Joost

Eric is the Chief Operating Officer for CAC Group. He oversees a variety of our property & casualty practices, technical services / risk consulting, claims, data risk and analytics and proprietary technology efforts.

During his diverse career in global insurance, Eric has hands-on leadership experience in all facets of brokerage and underwriting businesses within the North American and London markets. Prior to joining CAC, Eric was most recently the Global Head of Property & Casualty for Willis Towers Watson where he also oversaw the insurance brokerage technology capabilities.

Prior to that, he led North American operations at Willis, providing leadership and oversight of various specialty products and client service practices with specific focus in the financial services, construction, environmental, real estate, health care, life sciences, and technology / telecommunications industries.

Eric is a frequent speaker at industry events and podcasts: KPMG Treasury Conference, Keefe Bruyette & Woods Insurtech Conference, Accenture Insurance podcast, and Chisel Al podcast.

Eric has a Master of Business Administration in Marketing and Finance from the Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the McCormick School of Engineering, both from Northwestern University. He is Non-Executive Director of Artificial Intelligence. And served for four years as a board member for the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers until January 2020.
