Colin Daly

Colin is the Chief Commercial Officer for CAC Group. In this role, he over-sees all industry verticals, specialty insurance products, production and carrier engagement. He also is a member of the CAC Group Executive Committee.

Prior to this role, Colin was responsible for the Financial Lines Practice within CAC Specialty, which encompassed all management liability products, inclusive of Directors and Officers, Cyber, Employment Practices, E&O, Fiduciary, Fidelity and Kidnap, Ransom and Extortion. Along with managing the practice, he provided a full range of FLP brokerage ser-vices including strategic advice around exposure assessment, negotia-tion, structure and placement of coverage, and claims advocacy to clients across all industries.

He is also a member of the Senior Management Team, which comprises the Heads of each of the business groups within CAC Group. Since 2023, he has been an Executive Committee member of the Western Chapter of The Bridge Transcends, a not-for-profit networking organization that sup-ports the development of female talent in Financial Lines insurance and reinsurance.

Prior to joining CAC Specialty, Colin was a founding member of JLT Specialty USA. He was responsible for building out the US business with a focus on the Financial Lines Group. Before JLT, Colin served as the Na-tional Practice Leader of Aon’s Financial Services Group in the US. He started his career at the Chubb Group of Insurance companies as a sure-ty and management liability underwriter.

Colin obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Degree in Finance from Creighton University.
