Chris Bayer

Chris Bayer is an Account Executive for the Natural Resources Practice at CAC Specialty. He is a seasoned professional in the Energy and Marine insurance sector.

Prior to joining, he served as Senior Vice President – Marketing Account Executive at McGriff where he oversaw a diverse portfolio of Energy & Marine clients, assisting with Requests for Proposal, negotiating quotes, and mentoring associates.

Starting his career at Travelers Insurance Company, Chris honed his skills in underwriting and account management, progressing from Assistant Account Executive to Underwriter in the Oil & Gas Underwriting division. He then moved to Starr Companies as a Senior Underwriter, where he managed a profitable book of business and trained new hires.

At Lockton Companies, Chris served as an Account Executive, providing comprehensive service to clients with Energy & Marine exposures. His expertise in negotiating quotes, analyzing coverage gaps, and developing client reports was further refined during this tenure.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas A&M University’s Mays School of Business.
