Cheryl Price

Cheryl joined CAC, a part of The Baldwin Group, in April 2025, bringing more than 34 years of insurance brokerage and risk management experience dedicated to the energy sector. Prior to joining CAC, Cheryl spent 18 years as a broker at McGriff, specializing in utilities, power generation and mining. Earlier in her career, she spent 16 years in risk management roles, including 14 years with a major electric and gas utility, giving her firsthand insight into how energy companies manage and finance risk. Throughout her career, Cheryl has managed a diverse portfolio of clients, including electric and gas utilities, independent power producers, electric cooperatives, nuclear facilities and mining operations. She has cultivated strong relationships with energy underwriters and broker partners across the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe and Bermuda, earning a reputation for technical expertise, a collaborative approach, and deep market knowledge. Known for her attention to detail, Cheryl brings a genuine partnership approach to every engagement – navigating complex negotiations and developing customized risk transfer and marketing strategies aligned with each client’s business objectives. Cheryl earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Sul Ross State University in 1988.
