Bruce Denson, Jr.

Bruce serves as Chief Strategy Officer of CAC Group.

In his role, Denson works collaboratively as a market connector focused on identifying the people, teams, and opportunities that will power CAC’s next chapter – all while helping to operationalize CAC’s strategic vision and position the firm for sustained growth.

He has had a distinguished career in the insurance industry. For more than 20 years, he served as a leader of CAC Group and Cobbs Allen, one of the founding entities of CAC Group. Bruce played a key role in the company’s industry and geographical expansion as well as the firm’s revenue growth, helping build CAC Group to be a leading independent broker that delivers specialized solutions. He brings expertise in corporate strategy and business development initiatives, including strategic planning and expansion. He is also a thought leader in utilizing insurance to solve traditional capital market challenges and has created manuscript solutions for clients across a variety of industries.

Bruce graduated with honors from Vanderbilt University with degrees in philosophy and the classics and holds a Master of Theology from Covenant Theological Seminary. He is an Advisory Board member for AIG Southeast, a member of the Assurex Global Innovation Group, and a member of YPO.
