Alvaro Arcia is an Assistant Account Manager for the Natural Resources Practice for CAC Specialty.

Alvaro Arcia earned a Bachelor of Business Administration specializing in Finance and Risk Management at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. Alvaro has demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence, professional development, and community engagement.

Alvaro has gained valuable industry experience through internships with CAC Specialty in Houston, where he developed expertise in brokerage practices and insurance coverages in the oil and gas sector, and CRC Insurance Group in Chicago, where he deepened his understanding of wholesale brokerage practices and property insurance.

His roles have honed his analytical, communication, and technical skills, including proficiency in software like ImageRight, AIM, Tableau, and Python.

In addition to his professional experience, Alvaro has showcased leadership as Co-President of Gamma Iota Sigma, where he has organized events, increased membership, and represented the chapter at national conferences. He is also a participant in the prestigious Contreras Leaders in Risk Program, where he collaborates with industry mentors and presents research at risk and insurance summits.

Alvaro’s dedication to service is evident through his work as a Peer Tutor at St. Mary’s University, where he supported students in Finance, Mathematics, and Spanish, and his involvement with the VITA program, assisting community members with federal income tax preparation.
