Alex Luxenburg

Alex is a Senior Vice President for the Transactional Liability Practice at CAC Specialty. Alex focuses on the placement of R&W Insurance for private equity firms and corporate acquirors.

Prior to joining CAC Specialty, Alex was an M&A attorney at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison where he represented private equity clients in all aspects of complex acquisitions and divestitures. After Paul Weiss, Alex was an R&W Insurance underwriter for Chubb and Hamilton. Alex uses his experiences as legal counsel for buyers procuring R&W Insurance and as an R&W Insurance underwriter to negotiate favorable coverage for CAC’s clients and provide creative solutions for R&W Insurance.

Alex received his J.D from New York Law School (summa cum laude) and his B.A. from Elon University, where he was a member of the golf team.
