CAC Specialty Launches New Private Equity Practice, Announces Leadership Appointments

DENVER – CAC Specialty, the leading specialty insurance broker and advisory arm of CAC Group, announced the integration and relaunch of its Private Equity Practice under the leadership of David Barnes. The firm also announced the promotion of Rachel Beck to Executive Vice President, Private Equity.

The new structure unites CAC’s Human Capital Risk team, Insurance Diligence, and Private Equity team to increase the overall practice’s connectivity to numerous specialties including the firm’s Financial Lines, Representations & Warranties Insurance, Professional & Cyber Solutions, and Data & Analytics Practices.

Barnes will maintain his role as the Leader of CAC Specialty’s Representations & Warranties Insurance Practice. Similarly, Beck is a pivotal force in growing CAC Specialty’s private equity book, focusing on GPL and portfolio strategies for financial sponsor clients, will continue to lead the firm’s Sponsors Insurance Practice.
