Rik Goyton

Rik is a Senior Vice Present and founding member of CAC Specialty, specializing in Directors & Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, and Crime.

Rik focuses on addressing the complex needs of public companies, late-stage private companies and/or pre-IPO companies. His experience includes the F100, Airlines, Energy, Utility, and Technology companies.

Prior to CAC Specialty, Rik was at JLT Specialty for five years prior to its successful acquisition, and before that he was responsible for the Denver office of one of the big broker’s financial services groups. Rik has been recognized as “Power Broker” by Risk & Insurance and—once upon a time—as a “40 Under 40” winner by Business Insurance.

Rik earned his M.A. from The University of Texas at Austin and his Bachelor of Arts, with highest honors, from the University of California, Davis.
