Michael O’Brien

Michael is the Executive Vice President within the Business Development division at CAC Specialty. Michael has extensive sales strategy and account management experience. He quickly adapts to rapidly evolving organizational and market demands. Michael has been recognized as a top producer and sales leader in multiple sectors, with consistent multimillion-dollar revenue years.

Before joining CAC Specialty, Michael worked with Marsh/JLT, as the Managing Director and Sales leader, and Executive Vice President. During his time at Marsh/JLT, Michael led new key accounts, including M&A transactions and Fortune 500 firms. His hard work created jobs and increased visibility in the US and in Chicago markets.

Michael graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs and Management. He’s held several board memberships, including World Business Chicago, Chicago Sports Commission, Economic Club of Chicago, Rush Medical Center and the Civic Federation. Michael has been named a two time “Power Broker” by Risk and Insurance magazine.
