Blake Russell

Blake Russell joined CAC Agency in January 2024 as a Director of Pharmacy for the Employee Benefits practice group. He brings a wealth of experience in the pharmaceutical sector and demonstrates exceptional expertise in selling prescription drug benefits to self-funded employer groups.

Prior to this role, Blake served as the Director of Employer Market Sales for Prime Therapeutics, where he led a team of National Sales Executives responsible for selling prescription drug benefits to self-funded employer groups. Under his leadership, his team achieved record sales, including approximately half a million new lives sold in 2023, surpassing the company’s growth performance targets. Before his tenure with Prime, he worked as a Business Analyst for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama.

Blake holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama. Outside of work, he serves as a Board Member for the City of Mountain Brook Park and Recreation, and enjoys coaching youth sports, hunting, fishing, and golf.
