Robert Foster

Robert Foster serves as Senior Vice President in Loss Control at CAC Group, bringing over 30 years of experience in Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHS&S) leadership within multiple Fortune 500 manufacturing organizations.

Robert has a comprehensive EHS background in compliance across a diverse range of manufacturing environments, including logistics and warehouse operations, small component assembly, large-scale manufacturing, welding and heavy fabrication, foundries, chemical processing facilities, OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) sites, and engine testing operations. His global experience includes conducting EHS audits across multiple countries, reinforcing his expertise in international regulatory standards.
His technical background encompasses a broad spectrum of disciplines, including environmental compliance, air permitting, hazardous waste management, waste minimization, storm water management, EPA Risk Management Program (RMP) compliance, sustainability initiatives and reporting, ISO standards (9001, 14001, and 45001), and the implementation of EHS management systems.

In addition to his environmental expertise, Robert possesses extensive experience in occupational health and safety. He has led OSHA compliance programs, managed Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) sites, overseen PSM initiatives, and directed industrial hygiene programs. His leadership also extends to vehicle safety, emergency response coordination, behavior-based safety strategies, and infectious disease management across multiple manufacturing locations.

He earned his Master of Science in Environmental Management degree from Samford University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Jacksonville State University. He is professionally credentialed as a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), a Registered Environmental Manager (REM), and a Certified Environmental Auditor (CEA).
