Skyler Sikes

Skyler Sikes is a Senior Vice President and Producer for the Representations & Warranties Insurance Practice at CAC Specialty. He is an accomplished corporate attorney specializing in M&A transactions with a particular focus on domestic asset acquisitions and divestitures in the upstream, midstream, and renewable gas sectors.

Prior to joining, Skyler served as a Partner in the M&A and private equity group at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. At K&E, Skyler advised private equity investors as well as public and private E&P companies in over 65 transactions representing more than $45 billion in transaction value.

Skyler holds a Juris Doctor with Honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Letters from the University of Oklahoma. He has been actively involved in various professional and community organizations, including Young Professionals in Energy and the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation. He is also a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church.

Skyler lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife, Lexie, and their daughters, Mary-Scott and Madeline.
