John McGrath

John McGrath is a Senior Client Executive in the CAC Specialty Human Capital Risk Practice. With a wealth of experience spanning over 25 years, he specializes in advising employers on the strategic and financial aspects of employee benefits programs. His area of expertise includes strategic planning, client management, business development, mergers and acquisitions, underwriting, and vendor negotiations.

Prior to joining CAC Specialty, John served as a Senior Employee Benefits Consultant with The Hilb Group where he excelled in designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive employee benefits strategies and solutions. He has also worked for several consulting firms, including Mercer, Marsh, and Gallagher.

John holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Marketing with a minor in Management Information Systems from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY.
Residing in Connecticut, John is married with three children. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with family, skiing, golfing, and hiking with the family dog.
